Well I found that giving in a bit is easier than trying to resit and then eating it all 

so say you have something like a bag of M&amp;Ms in front of you? You look and you say, ok the green M&amp;Ms, they're MINE. They belong to ME,but they are the only ones. I cant have BLUE M&amp;Ms, nor BROWN, nor YELLOW 



That usually stops me from eating ALL the sweets which isnt as bad.
